Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC) is an association of the concerned who have been anxious about the trends of intolerance triggered by religious fundamentalists in the Indian society. GCIC was established for the advocacy of freedom of faith and continues to lobby the agencies and people responsible at the local and national levels for upholding and implementation of the constitutional guarantees and Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC) is a registered nonprofit organization headquartered in Bangalore, India and its international Offices in Delaware, USA. GCIC seeks to voice the concerns and difficulties being faced by the Indians in various nations in practice of their faith. GCIC is inspired by the Word of God and committed to collaborate and compliment the great work being done by the existing national bodies like the CBCI, NCCI, UIC and others.

GCIC has a national network of prayer partners who are engaged in intercession for peace and prosperity of our nation and people. We also promote interfaith prayer meetings for greater appreciation and understanding of faiths.

11th Nov 1998 India’s biggest ever Christian protest march in the recent times, organized in Bangalore against persecution of Christians.

Delegations to Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpyee and Home Minister Mr. L.K Advani and to President K R Narayan.

Investigation team for fact finding on atrocities against Christians to Mangalre, Mysore, Orissa, N, Delhi, Hydrabad and Chennai.

Visit to Manoharpur immediately after re-conversion of tribal Christians by His Holiness Puri Shankaracharya.
